Project Background
iOrderFoods.com is an online solution owned by Bankcardservices. The company started this project with the goal of providing a homepage that can provide online ordering solution to restaurant owners. The ultimate goal is to link restaurant sites with pos, and collect data from restaurants to create a portal site like yelp.

This project is still ongoing. Currently, They launched the HQ solution for customers with multi-location and the basic solution for single-store customers. And they also launched the end-user app and the admin app.

I participated in all products launched above, and I also worked on ads, homepages, and promotional materials for marketing.

The beginning of a tough challenge
When I first joined the company, there was no design team. They were mostly outsourcing their design work. I had to set up a design team and had to go through many projects at the same time.

The company has 250 employees, 14 brunches and 5 Subsidiary Companies across 8 U.S. states. ( www.navyzebra.com l New site ) I had to manage and work on numerous design requests simultaneously, both online and offline.

Above all, the most difficult thing was that the internal development team could not participate and worked with developers outside the United States. Creating products with outsourcing developers has been a lot of trial and error and it was not easy. But it was a great challenge for me.

Online Ordering Solution – Single store
The iOrderFoods (store) solution is to provide food Online Ordering System for Restaurants. The initial plan was to provide a simple functional online ordering system for small restaurants, but as the project progressed, many features were added and customized to the needs of consumers.
We add custom css function to the management tool and provide styling according to the characteristic of each restaurant.

IOF End User App
The IOF online ordering solution is basically mobile-responsive, but many merchants want to have their own apps as well. We have created an app that works with data on the website for such requests and easy sales.

Conclusion
The online ordering solution was not a new technology, but it was a good item to serve as a product from a card processing company. I believe that this attempt has made the first step for a traditional card processing company to develop into an IT company.

There was a lot of work to be done in the situation that insufficient professional resources and internal development team could not participate. It was a big challenge and I learned a lot while resolving many failures and unexpected situations. In particular, the greatest harvest was a lot of visual communication to work with developers outside the United States.

Through this project, I was able to use a variety of tools through numerous models and design modifications, and it was time to look for solutions with many problems.
